In a world often filled with noise and chaos, the Lauderhill PEACE365 campaign seeks to be a beacon of tranquility and understanding. Launched on April 29th, 2024, at the prestigious Lauderhill City Hall, this initiative aims to promote peace and harmony in our communities every day of the year.
The launch event was a celebration of unity and hope, attended by community leaders, activists, and supporters of the Lauderhill PEACE365 campaign. Lauderhill City Hall was adorned with messages of peace, and the atmosphere was electric with anticipation.
As the lead researcher on the Lauderhill PEACE365 campaign, I am thrilled about the successful launch and the journey ahead. This campaign is more than just a project; it is a movement toward a more peaceful and understanding society.
During a radio interview on Hot105 Hot Talk with Jill Tracey, included in this blog, which aired on April 28th, Commissioner Melissa P. Dunn of Lauderhill, the driving force behind the Lauderhill PEACE365 campaign, shares her insights and vision for the project. Her passion for promoting peace is evident, and her leadership is instrumental in driving the campaign forward.
I also had the distinct honor and privilege of being featured in the interview, discussing the research projects that I am spearheading for the campaign, lending my expertise to the goal of reducing interpersonal violence in our communities.
As we embark on this journey, we invite you to join us in spreading peace. Follow our blog for updates and ways to get involved in the PEACE365 campaign. Together, we can make a difference and create a world where peace is not just a dream but a reality.
Let's make peace a habit, not just a concept, and create a brighter future for generations to come.
